i cannot express how excited i am for these two parents. my cousin shauna and i were glued at the hip growing up, and after sharing so many dreams together, i am so happy to be next to her for yet another one of those dreams to come true as she and brad welcome their baby boy into this world. in just a few short weeks baby bittner will enter this world and meet the most loving parents a baby could ask for. i can’t wait to meet him!

it’s time for me to enter yet another fabulous photography contest from chic critique! chic critique is my favorite forum for photographers, and i have learned so much through the honest critique offered by other members of this forum this year. i know you all just saw this image last week, but i think it is a perfect fit for this contest: an image that “totally represents my style and skill”! celebrity judges will narrow down the entries to 10, and from there it will be up to the public to vote for their favorites each week! so here it is, the image of my adorable friends mel and anthony and the total style of sunnyheart photography! wish me luck!

this past week i had the chance of capturing another set of parents anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little girl! i love capturing this time in a woman’s life when each little kick is a reminder of the sweet bundle of joy who is about to join the family. i am so amazed by the miracle of life and truly believe this is the first chapter in documenting each child’s life, definitely something amazing to look back on over the years, to remember that time when you couldn’t wait to meet your sweet baby girl…
